# CBS

Contribuição sobre Bens e Serviços\
É um tributo federal brasileiro, instituído como parte da Reforma Tributária do Consumo. Sua principal função é simplificar o sistema tributário nacional ao unificar e substituir o PIS e a Cofins.

* Modelo de Tributação: Adota o modelo de Imposto sobre Valor Agregado (IVA) Federal.
* Não Cumulatividade: Opera sob um regime não cumulativo, o que permite às empresas o aproveitamento de créditos tributários sobre as aquisições para abater no valor devido sobre as vendas.
* Implementação: A transição para este novo tributo será gradual, com início previsto para o ano de 2026.
* Integração: Atua em conjunto com o IBS (Imposto sobre Bens e Serviços), que abrange as esferas estadual e municipal.
