# CST-IPI

O **CST-IPI : Código de Situação Tributária do IPI** é o código que define a incidência do Imposto sobre Produtos Industrializados em uma operação. Diferente do ICMS, o IPI possui tabelas distintas para operações de **Entrada** (compras/devoluções) e **Saída** (vendas/remessas).

### Estrutura do Código

O CST de IPI é composto por **2 dígitos**.

* **Códigos 00 a 49:** Referem-se a operações de **Entrada**.
* **Códigos 50 a 99:** Referem-se a operações de **Saída**.

#### CST de Entrada

Utilizados principalmente na importação ou quando a empresa tem direito a crédito de IPI na compra de insumos.
