# Difal
Difal (Diferencial de Alíquota)\
É uma regra de tributação em que o destinatário, contribuinte do ICMS, apura e recolhe em benefício de seu Estado o ICMS correspondente à diferença entre a alíquota interestadual e a interna, quando das aquisições de mercadorias, bens ou serviços oriundos de outros Estados e destinados ao seu uso, consumo, integração ao Ativo Permanente ou que não estejam vinculados a uma saída subsequente tributada.\
Exemplo:\
Se uma mercadoria vai ser transportada de São Paulo ao Rio de Janeiro, então a tarifa interestadual vai ser de 12%. Como a alíquota de ICMS do Rio de Janeiro é de 18%, o resultado do DIFAL é de 6% sobre o valor da operação.\
Assim, se o produto custou R$ 100,00, o valor do Difal será de R$ 6,00.
