É uma máquina leitora de CMC7 que permite a captura das informações contidas no cheque de uma forma confiável, mesmo com a existência de sinais gráficos sobre o CMC7 como, os carimbos, a assinatura ou outras marcas feitas com caneta.\
O leitor captura as seguintes informações disponíveis na linha CMC-7: número da câmara de compensação, número do banco, número da agência bancária, número da conta-corrente e número do cheque.
