# Máscara
Máscara é o código com numeração maior estruturado em vários níveis, utilizado para organizar os cadastros e facilitar as consultas.\
As máscaras são derivadas de códigos reduzidos.\
Algumas organizações denominam as máscaras como códigos "Filho" e os códigos reduzidos como códigos "Pai".\
**Exemplo de máscara de conta contábil:**\
1000\. Ativo (é o código reduzido)\
1.0.0.00.000 Ativo Circulante (é a máscara)\
A máscara de produtos contém toda a identificação do produto como por exemplo, cor, tamanho e outras variáveis.\
**Exemplo de máscara de produto:**\
O produto “Camiseta ABC” possui a máscara 005.001.003.\
Neste caso, o código 005 identifica o produto “camiseta “ABC”, o código 001 indica que o produto tem cor preta e o código 003 indica que o produto tem tamanho G.
