# NBS

A NBS (Nomenclatura Brasileira de Serviços) é um sistema padronizado de classificação utilizado no Brasil para identificar e catalogar detalhadamente todas as atividades de serviços intangíveis e outras operações que produzam variações no patrimônio.\

Funciona de forma semelhante ao NCM (Nomenclatura Comum do Mercosul), mas enquanto o NCM foca em mercadorias físicas, a NBS é voltada exclusivamente para o setor de serviços.\
\
Sua estrutura numérica serve como base para a aplicação de políticas públicas, fiscalização tributária, comércio exterior de serviços e para a harmonização de dados estatísticos no país.
