# RENAVAM
RENAVAM - Registro Nacional de Veículos Automotores\
É um sistema de identificação desenvolvido para o registro de todos os veículos do país, efetuados pelas unidades do Detran em cada estado, e centralizados pela unidade central, o Denatran.\
O código RENAVAM é o número identificador único de cada veículo que o referencia dentro do sistema. É um número composto de oito dígitos mais um dígito verificador. A partir de 1º de Abril de 2013, a numeração foi estendida para 11 dígitos.\
Através deste código é possível obter informações como o chassis, o monobloco, os agregados e as características originais do veículo. É possível também realizar a consulta de multas do veículo e emitir algumas taxas para pagamento, com emissão pela internet. Essas taxas são referentes à IPVA, DPVAT e licenciamento.
