# Seguro Social (Funrural)

É uma contribuição social destinada a custear a seguridade (INSS) geral. Este tributo é cobrado sobre o resultado bruto da comercialização rural (2,3%) e descontado, pelo adquirente da produção, no momento da comercialização.\
O contribuinte é o produtor rural mas o responsável tributário é a empresa adquirente da mercadoria.\
Exemplo: Caso o valor total dos produtos adquiridos totalizar R$ 720,00, O Adquirente irá pagar para o produtor rural a quantia de R$ 703,44, retendo como contribuição social o valor de R$ 16,56 (2,3%).
