# SEST SENAT
O Serviço Social do Transporte (SEST) e o Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem do Transporte (SENAT) são entidades civis, sem fins lucrativos. Elas foram criadas em 14 de setembro de 1993, pela Lei 8.706, a partir de um processo de conscientização do setor e de entidades sindicais. As entidades têm se firmado como substanciais colaboradores para o desenvolvimento do setor de transporte do país, atuando na formação e na qualificação de profissionais para o mercado, aptos às novas tecnologias e às complexas formas de trabalho. Para a preparação, a promoção do emprego e renda e, acima de tudo, o sucesso profissional dos trabalhadores, as entidades oferecem cursos e serviços especializados, garantindo maior capacitação e acesso ao mercado de trabalho.
