O Consistem Remote Printer trabalha com impressoras remotas, ou seja, impressoras que não estão conectadas diretamente ao servidor da aplicação, mas sim a computadores que atuam como servidores de impressão. Esses servidores de impressão consultam periodicamente a API do sistema principal para verificar a existência de novas solicitações de impressão e, quando houver, executam a impressão localmente na impressora configurada.
